Page of Honor

This page is dedicated to the K9 partners that we have lost over the years.  All of whom did an amazing job in serving their community.  Rest in Peace!

Daisy May  was handled by Steve Cooper.  Together they assisted with many searches and often helped with public appearance events.  Daisy was the mother of Journey and Xena, and her efforts assisted with the growth of this association. She will be for ever missed.

Xena's Relentless Pursuit was a littler mate to Journey.  She tragically passed away due to complication's with a twisted stomach.  Xena was a very much trusted K9, used on several searches and she will be greatly missed.

Journey passed away suddenly on March 18, 2020.  Our hearts broke as the life of this wonderful partner was cut way too short.  She had just started making callouts and was a very reliable dog.  She will be missed and forever in our hearts.

Hogan was the first certified working dog with the Texas Bloodhound Trailing Dogs Assn.  His first case was searching for an armed bank robbery suspect.  In his time he worked searches for missing alzheimer's patients, runaways, and fugitives.  His last search was for an abducted child. He is credited with making several finds including a missing woman who had wandered off from her home during the Texas summer with heat over 100 degrees.  His contribution to the Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue world was a great one.  RIP old friend you were truly special.

Radar was one of the strongest dogs that ever put on a harness.  Yet he was our "Baby Hewy."  Radar was the first dog certified by the TBTD and he also was certified with the United States Mantrialing Assn.  He had several callouts that he worked, and also had a find of an individual that had assaulted a police officer. He really was always the best of partners.

Storm was without a doubt the very best dog I have ever worked or ever seen work!  She understood the true meaning of being Relentless.  In her short time with us she had more than 10 call outs with 3 walk up finds and provided valuable information on all of her searches,  Our hearts will always be broke over her loss, and she will forever be in our memories!

Maggie was the first dog we had started with as a working dog, and she is the dog responsible for us all being involved with SAR in some way.  She was a very sweet dog that did a wonderful service for our community during her life with us.

Amos was an amazing working canine.  He was one of the dogs used on our first call out, which was for an armed bank robber. He always did more than his part when it was time for business, and he will always be remembered in our hearts.
