Our Team.

In 2009 Founding Member GL Potts started the Texas Bloodhound Emergency Response Assn.  As an Independent K9 Handler in the DFW area, a way was needing to be associated with the dog’s service.   Over the years with multiple callouts for more than a dozen police agencies it has become time to start branching out as a state of Texas search and rescue resource. Below is a list of Handlers and Dogs that are associated with the group.

Adama's Relentless Reign

K9 Reign has grown into one of our best dogs ever.  At 9 months of age, she had pasted her mantrialing certification with the United Stated Mantrialing Assn.  Reign has more drive then almost any dog I have seen and I now as she as matured into a true manhunter she is a force to be reckon with.  She has tracked down murder suspects as well as missing person, and is always eager to work.

Steve Cooper

Involved in SAR since 2004 Steve has worked several dogs. He has assisted on many searches as a Flanker and K9 Support.  A Member of Mansfield Citizen on Patrol makes him a valuable resource. A personal philosophy of his is, “to never stop being a student because there’s always something to learn.” His perfectionist personality directs him that giving 100% is never enough.

Sheriff is our newest dog to come to work for us.  He brings high drive and a relentless effort to every work.  We expect nothing but the best form him.

Corbin Hodge

K-9 Handler/Master Instructor, Corbin has taught over 100 Trailing Dog Seminars. A Certification Instructor for the TBTD and the US Mantrailing Association. Corbin has worked many cases including federal prison escapes, homicides, major criminal cases, as well as lost/missing persons.

Garret Bryl

With a combined 20+ years in the aviation field as an Aircraft Technician in the USAF & Aerospace Engineer at L3, Garrett is a member of the Joshua Fire Department.  In 2015 he become the UAS Flight School Instructor for Emergency Services, and serves as our “eyes in the sky” for missing person searches.

Lucky Sevens

This DJI Inspire 1 "Valkyrie" is a wonderful resource that not all responding agencies have access to.  This particular UAS made history being the first unit to save a life when it flew a life line to a stranded person in a flood situation. Adding in its Thermal Camera and it provides superior coverage both day and night.

A state of Texas search      and rescue resource!
